Go Get It

Album In Stores Now

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Hey it's Marshay here to help motivate you to accomplish your dreams. "Your destination is beyond limitations."

I came across this wonderful song one day and I never looked back.I need your undivided attention as you continue reading.

Lyrics to go Get It Below^^

Go Get It lyrics

[Verse 1:]
It's like you're looking through a telescope you see where you gone be
Growing getting better you're not the person they see
Can't be mad at the things you been through cuz they built yo muscle
Now you're stronger than you ever been they can't stop yo hustle

Yo Faith ain't never small that's what brought you this far
See you got your dreams and you got your prayers and you got Yo God he gone take you there
See everyone has a season and I believe this one's yours
Cuz you been workin waitin this what you been prayin for

[Chorus:]
Go get it, Go Get it, Go get it, Go get it, Go get it
Go get yo blessing
Go get it, Go get it, Go get it, Go get it, Go get it, Go get it
[From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/mary-mary-lyrics/go-get-it-lyrics.html]
It's yo time, it's yo time, it's yo time, it's yo time

[Verse 2:]
You were made to live a good life and that's what I believe
So hit the floor say a prayer start working you got to do something
It's alright to crawl before you walk it's alright to walk before you run
But if you wanna get what you never got gotta do something that you never done

[Repeat Chorus]

[Bridge:]
You've been qualified
But this mercy multiplied
You cannot be denied
Cuz you're finally certified
It's official
Go ahead and testify
He's gone bless you
You gone bless me
Now God be glorified

[Repeat Chorus 2x's]

At the end of this song, you should be relieved of all fears. This is a season of "No Fear, All Faith" as Kirk Franklin would say. That Dream you have can be accomplished, you have to be willing to dedicate time, patience, energy and passion into your craft. If you Believe, you will Achieve.

Faith is Forsake All I Trust Him
You are tested so prepare for your testimony.
Trust Him, he has had your back for this long, why would he stop now.

A set back is a set up for a Great Comeback!!
Faith is the presence of things unseen.

GO GET IT!!!

Mary Mary was born Erica Atkins and Trecina "Tina" Atkins. Erica was born April 29, 1972 and Tina was born on May 2, 1974.
If you haven't watched their reality show on WE, I feel sorry for you.

It shows all seven of the Atkins children, which are: Darrel (born 1965; the only living boy – as the second boy had died as a child); Maliea (born 1967); Erica and Tina; Delisa (born 1978) (who was originally a third member); Thomasina (born 1979); Alana (born 1985) and Shanta (born 1986). Thomasina and Alana sometimes sing back up for their big sisters. Due to their proximity in age, the two sisters grew up closer to one another than to any of their seven siblings.

I absolutely Love and Adore them because they are Taurus like me (just kidding)!!

Jada,Willow and Adrienne-Happy Mother's Day!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

It's Marshay and I would love to discuss Red Table Talk....

Red Table Talk is a new web series, which Jada hopes other families will participate in, Jada Pinkett Smith invited her family to sit at a red table and have an open conversation about their lives together (no topic was off limits).  Just in time for Mother's Day, Jada hopes other families across the country will sit and have "talks" to build better relationships and stronger families.

Here are the highlights ...

Jada says: "My belief is that communication is the best way to create strong relationships.  Just for people to be able to sit down together and have a conversation, that's the power of love. Love is what sometimes holds us and binds us when we're not so happy. If we concentrate on how much we can love one another, we can get through all the other stuff.”

Willow says: “If I had to change one thing about my life, it would probably be, I wouldn’t be famous,” the 11-year-old singer admitted.“Because when you’re famous it’s so hard. Let’s say if a regular girl is going to the book store, it’s ten times harder to go everywhere [when you're famous]. But some people are like, ‘Oh, it’s so easy,’ and I’m like, ‘As fast as you can get there, it’s going to take me ten more minutes to get there.’ Because I have to call security.”

Adrienne says: "Jada did not have the kind of life that you have now.  And I was not a good mother.  And I know that your Mom believes that all experiences good and bad help make you the person that you are today.  But I feel like during those times, the bad outweighed the good.  I was on drugs until your Mom was 17 or 18 years old.  I have been clean for 22 years and I went into therapy.  But I felt like things that needed to be said that she needed to get off her chest.  I have been so caught up in my own guilt for years."

  • Jada stated that her and her mother had basically grown up together.
  • She views the life experiences as overall good because her mother gave her freedom. She would allow her to express herself creatively.
  •  She learned the power of freedom with healthy boundaries.Jada stated that her mother never once told her she couldn't do something. Anything she was interested in such as dancing and singing, her mother was there.
  • When Jada gave her mother an automatum, "Ma, I'm not staying here in North Carolina School of the Arts, you have two choices "I can go to law school or I could go to California and see how all of this works." Her mother told her let's pack for LA. That's a mother, she may have been on drugs but she knew how to love. At the time, she may not have loved herself but she loves her daughter. Jada said "that's good parenting because her mother was intuitive enough to know who she was."

In life we need, to be told "Reality is Wrong, Dreams are Real" as stated by Tupac Shakur. Tupac was Jada's best friend.

Parents: Please Get to Know Your Children.. Learn what they like, why, who they like, what they dislike and why. You should be able to identify God's purpose over your child's life if you pay close enough attention.

Lil Kim and Nicki M.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:
I know this Topic is old but why not say how I feel since My Blog is New....
                              !!I Love Nicki and Kim!!
Nicki Please Give her the Respect She wants and Deserves!!
  1. Nicki should apologize for the beef that has been started for some reason. Kim should accept the apology and they should get back to business.
  2. Do a record or album together.
  3. Be Happy!!

  • In the industry, often times things are take out of context and haters who pose as fans claim it's about such and such when it could have nothing to do with them.
  • Watch the above two videos to understand, each of their sides of the story.
!!I Love Them Both!!

Nicki has obviously been inspired by Lil Kim, Look at the pictures below. Even Nicki's tone when she's rapping is similar.

As humans, we all inspired by the things around us. So, I understand Nicki wanting to reign as an artist such as Lil Kim. All I'm saying is Nicki should thank her because she helped create the artists that you are. Nicki has thanked so many female rappers but never Kim as far I know.

  • At The End of the Day, these two females as artists should respect each other. To me, why not do like Kanye and Jay Z, create an album together like Watch the Throne, records would be broken.
  • As women, we need to respect ourselves and others. They are both creative beings and great rappers.

Lil Kim has stated "I would do a song with her for 7 million, that's my lucky number."

I would pay it if I could!!

Fantasia Barrino

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

One of my Favorite Singers in this World is:

DrumRoll...

PinRoll......

ToeRoll......

ArmRoll......

DrumRoll.....

 Fantasia Barrino

Fantasia Barrino has been through some trivial points in her life such as rape, illiteracy, and attempted suicide but she still reigns my favorite singer. Her spirit is one of a kind.

Fantasia Barrino was born to Diane and Joseph Barrino and raised in High Point, North Carolina. Her birth date is June 30, 1984. The family traveled, performed and recorded the CD Miracles for a local label. Despite the travels, Barrino attended Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina. Feeling embarrassed and harassed after she was raped by a classmate, she dropped out of high school. She became pregnant at 16, and on August 8, 2001, gave birth to her daughter, Zion Barrino. She auditioned in Atlanta for American Idol.

  • Barrino's audition version of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary"was an early favorite in the competition.
  • Her standout performance during the course of the show was a heartfelt staging of the Porgy and Bess standard "Summertime" that left her in tears from "feeling the song" and earned praise from the judges - Randy Jackson has called it the best performance in the show's history - and was named amongst the AOL's 2004 list of greatest television moments.
  • For the final performance of the season, Barrino offered a second performance of "Summertime" that again drew praise from the judges; Simon Cowell remarked that she was the best contestant to ever compete in any competition, including the more than seventy Idol champions crowned nationally and internationally since the show began its first global incarnations.
  •  On the finale, over 65 million votes were cast in order to determine the winner on May 26, 2004, up from 24 million in 2003. It was the highest finale vote in the show's history until the May 23, 2007 season-six finale.Barrino defeated runner-up Diana DeGarmo by 1.3 million votes. At age 19, she was the youngest American Idol winner until May 23, 2007, when the 17-year-old Jordin Sparks won the title.
  • In September 2005, Barrino published a memoir, dictated to a freelance writer, titled Life Is Not a Fairy Tale. The book became a New York Times best-seller, reaching number seven on the list. In it, she revealed she is functionally illiterate and was unable to read the text of contracts she signed or to read to her then four-year-old daughter. In 2006, following the release of her autobiography, Life Is Not a Fairy Tale, Barrino's father sued her for $10 million after she said unflattering things about him in the book that he claimed were false.
  • On February 13, 2011, Fantasia won her first Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "Bittersweet".
  • On August 1, 2011, Barrino announced a second pregnancy during a charity concert event in Jacksonville, Florida. She did not reveal the name of the father. September 13, 2011 it was confirmed that the singer would be having a boy. On December 13, 2011 she gave birth to a son, Dallas Xavier Barrino by Antwaun Cook.

Fantasia and Her Mother

She is My Favorite Singer because I feel her anointment. She has a beautiful spirit that transcends the music to my ears perfectly. Fantasia needs to learn to love herself and I will continue to Love her and I wish her nothing less than the best.
