VMA's Recap: My View

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Nicki's performance opened the show and it was a showstopper, as Taylor Swift surprised us all towards the end. Nicki performed "Trini Dem Girls."

Nicki received an award for Female hip hop video of the year for "Anaconda." Nicki spoke out as old Nicki and even mentioned her beef with Miley Cyrus. Miley said "you know how they twist interviews." Nicki then was cut off by Miley (that's what my family said) and Nicki said "Bitch don't play with me." I think it was all a joke and yes, I know what Miley said in the interview. Reports are saying it was a serious encounter.

Taylor Swift won best female video, of course!! Please, don't act shocked Taylor because we aren't.

Demi looked gorgeous on the MVA, body and all 😍😍.

Kim lips look over injected.

Tori Kelly sang for her life, great performance. Love her soulful voice.

Macklemore performed, which was good to see.

Now, what I didn't like was when they had Amy Scheumer play light of police brutality by introducing the best hip hop artist while dressed as a stripper police, that scene was very shady and should have been removed.

My favorite part of the entire show is when my Queens came on the stage to close the show with Miley Cyrus. Drag Queens such as Jasmine Masters, Gia Gunn, Kennedy, Laganja Estranja, Gia Gunn, Alyssa Edwards, Jaidynn Diorre, Trinity and so many more graced the stage with female real ness. I have to say I was so excited that it was queens I could name as a true drag fan.

Plus, Kanye is running for President in 2020. Cast your votes early, I know I will. Even though, his speech contained a lot of "Bro," I'll still support the creative genius.

Love and Hip Hop Atl. Reunion Part 1

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Joseline is the funniest person ever to hit a Love and Hip Hop reunion stage. She went on Nikko and his wife Margeaux who was constantly defending him when he was attacked. Joseline insisted that he is gay and fuc&s men instead of women or he would have kids by now. I was so hype and excited to sit down to watch the Joseline and Stevie show πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. They did not fail my excitement. Stevie almost got into a fight with Nikko over Nikko's statement about he'll have Stevie and Mimi's daughter calling him Daddy.

It was revealed that Joseline and Dime were friends and they hashed the pink elephant beef. Dime admitted Karlie told her that Joseline denied their friendship and relationship. As we know, they have threesomes.

I believe Mimi, Joesline and Stevie used to have threesomes together. Mimi also admitted that she was in threesomes with Stevie a few times when they were together.

Rasheed's looked cute, I loved her shoes  and Joseline's outfit was cute. I didn't Karlie's dressed and everyone addressed how messy they thought she was and she said she considered that being a good friend. I like Margeaux's bald cut, she looks beautiful.

Overall, I am waiting for Part 2 as patiently as I can⌚️

She's Got Game (Episode 2)

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

So, let's Recap of "She's Got Game" Episode 2, I would have to say this episode was pretty interesting. My girl Priscilla is still taking over the show, she is the drama and the center of attention.
Tonight featured a spite between her and Sierra (Mrs.Arrogant) and Game found out that she had a spicier side than what he's seen so far. As he talked to both of the girls individually, both blamed the other for the situation but honestly, Priscilla was rowdy.

Game went on a date with KiKi and Melissa. Melissa talked about Priscialla the entire night. Game said he learned nothing about her, she doesn't like Priscilla because Priscilla had an altercation with her earlier. KiKi told him about her southern upbringing in a small town and I knew it just wasn't a match.
Also, I found out that Game's current girlfriend Briona Mae is a cast member of the show but I haven't seen her so far. As I continued to watch the show, I seen her on a preview for a future episode and was like there she goes. She is gorgeous!!

In the end, KiKi was sent home. Let me know your thoughts and have you been watching the show?

Chris Brown Concert Recap (08/15)

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Yesterday, I attended Chris Brown's concert and he did a great job. The show was at Jiffy Lube Live, a venue I had never been too before. It was a nice setup, we were sitting the 300's and I thought that would be extremely far from the stage but it turned out to be closer than I thought. This is a venue I will definitely go to more.
He had a lot of features artists: Teyana Taylor, Omarion, Kid Ink, Migos, (surprise) French Montana and Fetty Wap.

Omarion was great, he is so small in person and had the crowd screaming for him. Kid Ink came on right before Chris Brown and I was surprised by the amount of screaming that came with the announcement of his name. I never knew he was so popular. My family thought he looked like Chris Brown but I beg to differ.

Teyana Taylor did great. Teyana involved the audience by having three men sir when she was performing as she danced around them. Migos did great, I learned a few songs that were there's were actually by them because I did not know.

Fetty Wap was good. Sites said that he was robbed and his dreads were pulled out but he made a video saying it was unsure.

French Montana surprised us with appearance merely towards the end of the show. The crowd raved and was very pleasantly surprised.

Chris Brown danced his butt off, sang and performed most of his hits. They had Michael Jackson playing during the intermission and the show was over on time. If you attended the show, comment with your thoughts and follow me on YouTube at Marshay Herder and tell me what you thought.

Motivational Tiphani Montgomery

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

The past week, I have been watching Tiphani Montgomery on Periscope, Twitter, through her website and receiving emails from her website.

Her Periscope videos have been the most helpful because she does a prayer that is very essential to becoming financially, emotionally and spiritually free of all burdens. The prayer really blessed me, I was catching up on my reality shows as I paused the TV to sit in prayer with Tiphani via Periscope.

Her tweets are usually pertaining to the thousands of things she has going on and they are also beneficial.

I visited her website again today and found her "Resources" page, which included sites to use to collect emails, to build a website, to have consistent tweets and to help with organization. All of that could be found at TiphaniMontgomery.com.

If you ever want to be a self-publisher of your own books, please purchase her package which is about three hundred and something dollars that will help you on your journey. I believe it will be a great investment.

Overall, I would like to say that Tiphani is a powerful prayer warrior and great motivator for those of you who are trying to start and maintain a healthy business. She is someone whose story I'm sure you could relate to. Please join her movement by subscribing to TiphaniMontgomery.com.

Back Together

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

This is a subject I wanted to write about because several artists such as Jill Scott and Robin Thicke have songs titled "Back Together" and Tyrese is trying to get back with his woman through his song "Shame."

Do you believe that it is okay to get back together with an "ex"? Do you believe that people were specifically made to be together? Side note: I'm currently listening to Trey Songz "Made To Be Together."

I believe that if it's an "ex," that they were meant to stay that in most cases because obviously the person did something to create a strain in the relationship. You must choose to love yourself better to not suffer with the same   issues that are not building but destroying who you are. Some of you have a destiny that is beyond the relationship that you're currently in but you choose to settle for "not that bad." "Not that bad" is I have a job and I'll give you something towards the bill but I require you to be everything that I want in a woman. Men forget to be a man and vice versa.

People say that women today are different, which is true because men today are not built like they use to be. At least if they would cheat, it would be kept away from the home and often, they still handled their responsibilities as a man at home.
I admire Tyrese's audacity to admit that he is ashamed of his behavior and he wants his girl back. Many men feel this way but allow their ego's and pride to deter their true emotions from being expressed.

How many is "too many" chances to be given to a significant others?

I personally feel that the circumstances, time length and emotional connection all are major factors in determining whether to just call it quits or try again.
If it is more than seven years, why not fight for something that has been "good" overall. If less than three years, how can you last a lifetime if that is apart of your relationship goal if your significant other is unable to sustain for a short period of time.

So, the question Should we get back together? Is one that only you, God, and that other person could determine.
You know your battles, trials, triumphs and ability to push forward through them all only if you feel it is worth it and only time will tell.

"She's Got Game" Premiere

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Today, I watched the premiere of "She's Got Game" and my first impression is this show is all for TV. I feel like The Game needs a mature woman who has herself together and some of these women are immature.
I have to say I like Priscilla, Priscilla seems to have her business together, she seems intelligent and she's pretty.

Rebecca is not cute to me and doesn't seem like she would be interesting enough for the Game not to get distracted by other girls.

Jennifer seems like she could be his best friend, cool to hang around but not his lover. A little too hard for him.
Destinee seems obsessed with him and he doesn't seem as interested with her. She is not they type of girl he should be with and she claimed she knew him but he couldn't even remember her.

Sierra is arrogant and at first, I appreciated her confidence but the more she talked, the more I realize she would probably think she's better than the Game and that would not work well. She also appears to not be a friendly person as far as kids based off her attitude.
I'm going to try not to talk about people badly but a few of these girls are ugly, and not that that is the main focus but it wouldn't work for Game.
I actually like his ex-fiancΓ©e Tiffney, too.
Before I go, let me mention that Priscialla is suing the Game for assaulting her at a club by putting his hand up her skirt and she had no underwear on.
As you know, Amber Rose has her slut walk going on right now and she jumped to Priscilla's side when the news was revealed.
The slut walk is dedicated to empowering and uplifting women, and supports women wearing clothes they make be proactive to some but is actually sexy and not asking for sex for many!!

I support her slut walk but I am unable to get to LA for it!!

Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards 2015

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

This past weekend I attended the Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards 2015 and overall it was a great event. There were tons of stars which is always an attraction for people. The list of stars included Tamar, K. Michele, Tamela and David Mann, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tyrese, Usher, Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Babyface, Kim Whitley, Sheryl Underwood, Erica Campbell and Yolanda Adams; just to name a few. The weekend included an all white freedom Friday party and seminars, TV show screenings and expos. We attended Steve Harvey's family feud which was absolutely hilarious.
We attended his live taping of his morning show where my girl K. Michele performed. She looked beautiful and had on a blue jumpsuit with splits and Steve Harvey couldn't get over her big behind, lol. The ladies raved for Robin Thicke and screamed when Tyrese came out, he didn't perform at the morning show but he spoke for a few mins. Also, the amazingly gifted Avery Sunshine performed. She looked beautiful with her all white pants and top on. His hosts were so fun, funny and kept us entertained.
We attended the seminars which were okay but they should've had performers in the expo as well. The vendors had some really cute clothes for great prices. What I've noticed about Atlanta is there stores have some great clothing in it. I even ran into Karlie Redd's store in Stonecrest Mall, Merci!! We seen a semi see with Stephen Smith, Kandi and Dr. Laura about Would you date you? And the debate was on, especially between strong minded Kandi and big mouth Stephen.
We also attended a step show that included five great sorority steppers and their stern faces. One group stood out in particular by taking their shirts off and gyrating on the stage, all in a PG13 way.
The Ford Celebrity Blue Carpet was a distance from the stars that was hard to reach or speak to but it was nice that they gave fans that opportunity.
The actual Hoodie Awards was so funny, my seat was far and high up which was a bit scary but worth the time. It took about five hours to go through each award and the performances which featured Tyese, Usher and Babyface. During the show, Tamela did an impromptu performance of Take Me to the King and the audience loved it. The show showcased some great barbers, soul food owners, best nail salon, teacher and school which a hometown based school "Flowes High School" won. DC was nominated several times. Usher did a wonderful job, even though he says he was injured a week before and Tyrese sang his heart out to the ladies; and actually became a fan of Babyface, whom I didn't know was a sex symbol. He ripped that shirt off and inspired Steve to do the same, Lol!!
A great show that I seen through the TV screenings was "Family Time" featuring Angel Conway and Omar Gooding. It comes on Bounce TV!!
This is my look for the awards show, I was a little unprepared but the vendors had this cute boutique where I found this gaucho bustier jumpsuit. There is so much to say that I know you will probably stop reading about halfway through, but go ahead and book your flights, hotels and everything else in advance. I love that Steve Harvey has a show dedicated to the people in the community that is doing well. Steve Harvey is a great man, he gave the oldest woman in the room, $1,000 from his pockets. Nephew Tommy and someone else gave her $100 and she received a grill from MasterBuilt. Great and nice people everywhere, the neighborhoods actually remind me a lot of DC.
I would recommend this event to anyone who likes stars, fun, music and shopping.

Holier than Thou

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

One of the most hypocritical things that I've ran across on several occasions is people who are judgemental and critical of others lifestyle, behavior and actions but forget to check their own situation.

It is so crazy when I see members of churches, gospel influences, Christians, Catholics and anyone of religious beliefs who has a mindset that they are Holier than Thou, that their sins has a lesser weight or value compared to other believers. It is not good to carry yourself on a high horse that you heart, soul and mind are not able to reach.

You should not claim to be God's child and a representation of his word or him when you mistreat and hurt people intentionally, or with no concern for that person's feelings.

God is of LOVE. Love is honest, real and does not devalue a person but encourages and uplifts a person to be better. Don't walk around with your nose so close to the sky, that you don't smell your own "shi!" You are human, just like everyone else. You make mistakes but you try your best to serve God and love God, that's a real child of God. If you were perfect, you would be an angel in heaven by now; not still waking on earth like everyone else.
It is not okay to compare your sins or lie about the life you actually live to fulfill your ego, the truth will always be revealed.

How do you overcome abuse?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and Everything In Between:

Only victims of abuse would understand the feeling you feel when a man looks at you in a lustful way. The older I get, the more I realize that maybe some ppl. can't identify the signs and/or behavior that comes with being abused in any form. I am able to identify with ppl. and the feelings of being forced to do something reminds me of what has happened & my story. It's hard to swallow the pill that your own parents or close family and friends think that it's just something wrong with you but they don't know that beneath lies a deeper issue that has never been addressed. One thing I do not like is when issues get swept over, and never worked through then it becomes something that lingers for years with no foreground to stand on. People expect you to keep going and get over things but it's not that simple. If it was, the issue would have left a long time ago. Loved ones should look deeper to find out what it is and encourage a person instead of insult a person to just make it pass over. Its so hard to release built up pain and anger without hurting others in the process. It is a journey of identifying what has happened because often abuse victims forget or bury it so deep that they ignore it. Secondly, make it a priority to "change," change the way you feel and change the way you identify with your abuse. Don't look at it as your fault or something you could've done differently, realize the person who committed this crime against you as sick. What would you do with a sick person? Care, love and cherish them but discern whether and how your relationship with that person will be. Desires that are completely unacceptable such as physical abuse, emotional and sexual abuse!! Often family and friends don't understand your actions after the act, which could be 30 yrs. later, because it did not occur to them. When you are violated, you lose your self worth, self value and self confidence. This is something that is disheartening and hard to get pass because as victims we often choose to value our strength in silence, the older I get I am recognizing that I can be silent but openly honest with my truths. I've always been honest but never with the person who may have hurt me. The person whom is often claiming others as crazy or as something is wrong with, is usually the person who is the craziest. They have issues, you have issues, we all have issues and some people are able to show their true colors in different lights. You never know what a person is going through so try your best to be mindful of how you respond to others. Don't let what you've gone through, overtake you!! I promise you will make it through and be so much stronger and better than you have ever been before. I love writing and now that I have this blogger app, I will be showing you all more of what is in me that needs to be released out. Please know that your destination is beyond limitations and releasing your hurt will be a stepping stone to Wearing your Best You.
