• Let's not go into youtube videos this time because I cant think of any, out of 1,000,000,000 of them that exist so this time we'll just discuss the R and  B Divas of Atlanta and LA.

Reality is one of the biggest media outlets today and I happen to be one of its main supporters.

• I love this show, let's start with that. It is entertaining and informing!! There are several women on this show (5 main ladies + a couple of featured ladies who are becoming stars themselves through this reality show such as Monifah's fiance and Syleena's sister).

 

 

"I feel as though all of the singers on this show are women who started their careers at a young age and have tried to reach a certain point in their careers whatever that may be to them and at some point, reached a subliminal  obstacle that got in the way and made them take a slight turn. They are now on their journey to discovery and recovery, with the destination of a R and B Divas Tour. "

1. My favorite DIVA of them all, Ms KeKe Wyatt. Ms. KeKe Wyatt is hilarious and full of a vibrant personality that makes you want to continue to watch the show. She has a whole bunch of kids which is nice and a husband named Michael JAMAR. Not only that but she has a voice that ould literally knock you out of your seat. I could go on and on about Ke Ke and I think she would like that but I'm going to give the other ladies a few minutes of my time.
2. 

   Nicci Gilbert aka Ms. Mouth all Mighty (I love you Nicci, trust me, I do) but I called her Mouth all Mighty because she is bold, outspoken and often abrasive. There is nothing wrong with being bold, it just sometimes could backfire. Nicci, I have to say that when Syleena told you off, it was hilarious!!!! I'm laughing right now as I write this. Nicci does need to watch how she treats people and what she says to them but she's not a bad person, that Im sure of just a little bitter.
3. Syleena Johnson, hasn't been the nicest throughout the season but she has tried to keep peace by inviting Nicci to her home, by speaking to Nicci gently but one wrong thing that Nicci said and everything spirals out of control. I just wish her and Nicci get it together, immediately for the sake of the tour but for the sake of the show, they probably will stay where they are at.
4. Monifah, is my second favorite R and B Diva from Atlanta, she is cool, funny, and smart. Every time the girls get into a debate, she is the one to cool the confusion.

ABOUT US IN AMERICA
Below is just a few things that I was thinking about it, and I was wondering what you were thinking also. So, sit down and relax as you read this post and try to think about what I am saying and if its any truth to it. It's time to get up, get out and get something!!

---- We call ourselves LAND of the Free--- But who is truly free?? R we honestly able to do what it is that we set out to do whether bad, good or indifferent. How are we Free when there are limitations on how we can dress, speak, act and be???

Do I believe there should be limitations? Of course I do because I believe that as humans with minds(the ability to think), we can come up with various things to do that are not in God's will.



I've spoken to people who have made decisions based off  feeling like they have no other option but we live in America, the home of the brave and land of the free, right???


America is named after Amerigo Vespucci, the Italian explorer who set forth the then revolutionary concept that the lands that Christopher Columbus sailed to in 1492 were part of a separate continent. A map created in 1507 by Martin Waldseemüller was the first to depict this new continent with the name "America," a Latinized version of "Amerigo."

I often wonder why we have so many stereotypes because as far as life has taken us, that is all that we have seen or known to be true. I know that as people we were created by God whom we should put as the leader of our lives and we should follow?? But should we at all measures except boundaries that are set by past laws, actions and rules. I have grown to see that we as the American People go along with Obama, when he says CHANGE but are we honestly ready to, as I write this know that I am also speaking to myself. Am I ready to except Change? I know that in order to except change, I must be willing to change and I am not quite sure if  I am willing to change completely.

• What type of change am I speaking of?

- I am mainly talking about the setup of this country and the things that we have become accustomed too.  I believe as Americans, we feel entiltled or a sense of ownership over things that do not belong to us when in actuality what work have we put in to receive these things like we automatically assume that things in this world will be given to us. You have to put in to get out just like an an ATM, you put your card in, you get some money out unless your account is empty which means that you haven't put anything in or you've already taken everythhing out. Think about IT>>>>>>>>>>>

Think About It, This is like a church sermon, apply into you or your life in some way, form or fashion!! (LOL)

At this years 10th Anniversary of V103's Car & Bike Show at the Georgia World Congress Center

This Summer, Neon Nails and Toes are In:

• Rasheeda and her hilariously honest mother with her "Oh' Hell Naw" T-Shirt On and Rasheeda's husbad Kirk deecided to rock an "Almost Single" T-Shirt 

• Kirk called in to WGCI's Morning Riot show yesterday to tell what's really going on. He cconfirmed he and Rasheeda have one child together, 12-year-old Ky, and Kirk has 4 other kids. Interestingly, he doesn't confirm ages which would probably prove he's cheated on Rasheeda at some point during their many years of marriage.

• And you would think that this far into a marriage and all these kids, why would he say such cruel things to his own wife. Kirk says "we do argue and have these problems" and "it's just blown up because the cameras are there." He also ended the interview saying he DOES want this child....now.

Here are the highlights from his interview:

On why he made the abortion comment and said the baby may not be his: "I did say it because [having a baby] was messing with our business. I was really pissed off. This is my thing--A baby comes out a woman, it doesn't come out a guy. You don't know where that woman's privates been."

On if he REALLY thinks Rasheeda cheats on him: "Not that I know of, but she's a rapper....I see how many people try to get at Rasheeda 24/7 and it's been like that for years. I see people sending bags and offers and asking if she's still with her husband...I don't know if she would do that though. But there's not a perfect person walking this earth."

On if he's the one cheating and that's why he's accusing Rasheeda of cheating: "At that point in time, no. (When asked if he is now) That remains to be seen."

On if he regrets saying Rasheeda should get an abortion: "I definitely do. I wouldn't have said [the abortion thing]."

On the gay rumors: "I am nowhere near gay."

On the status of his & Rasheeda's marriage: "We're friends. We're still husband and wife. But do we still have some problems to work out, yes we do."

I'm writing this on the first day of Summer, and next week, the weather is going to be in the 90's!!

I know you heard about Chad Ochocinco smacking his lawyer's butt and being put in jail for 30 days but then apologizing and having his time in jail shortened to one week.

SERENA OPINION ON THE SIXTEEN YEAR OLD RAPE

But it was her recent comments she made to Rolling Stone about the high school boys in Steubenville, OH who were accused of raping a teen girl.  People said she was victim-blaming when she spoke up saying the victim was "lucky" (likely meaning lucky something worse didn't happen) and that girls should be taught how not to get themselves in situations like those (being drunk and not in control).

I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you—don't take drinks from other people. She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different."

Serena's most recent statement alluded to her words being misconstrued by RS.  She said:

"What happened in Steubenville was a real shock for me. I was deeply saddened. For someone to be raped, and at only sixteen, is such a horrible tragedy! For both families involved — that of the rape victim and of the accused. I am currently reaching out to the girl's family to let her know that I am deeply sorry for what was written in the Rolling Stone article. What was written — what I supposedly said — is insensitive and hurtful, and I by no means would say or insinuate that she was at all to blame.

"I have fought all of my career for women's equality, women's equal rights, respect in their fields — anything I could do to support women I have done. My prayers and support always goes out to the rape victim. In this case, most especially, to an innocent sixteen year old child.

Paula Deen got fired from THE FOOD NETWORK for racist comments such as the "N Word"


Pauala's Apology: “I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I’ve done. I want to learn and grow from this. Inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable.”

This time, Paula seem more relaxed and offered a more "detailed" apology.

"Your color of your skin, your religion, your sexual preference does not matter...I was wrong, yes, I’ve worked hard, and I have made mistakes, but that is no excuse and I offer my sincere apology to those that I have hurt, and I hope that you forgive me because this comes from the deepest part of my heart.”

 

Unfortunately for Paula, the two attempts were not enough to save her gig at the FOOD Network.  A spokeswoman for the network told TMZ that Paula Deen’s contract would not be renewed when it expired at the end of June.

 

Although the FOOD Network didn't offer any specifics about the non-renewal, it looks like they couldn't stand the heat...and put Paula out of the kitchen.
